I had to write an essay about anything I wanted, be it art related. As mentioned in a previous post, I was inspired to write about how your perception can change the view of an artwork and what adds value to a painting. I have attended quite a few lectures that made me think about why we view some artworks as more valuable than others and how our perception of things are influenced by things like the fame of the artist.
